I made a 7 a.m. appointment for service for my car. It was my first service since purchasing my car and I figured this was plenty of time to get the service I requested and get to work right around the corner at 840 a.m. I was just trying to get my 5000 mile service which was rotating tires and checking fluids and such. I also needed recall work done. I drove up at 655 and was told it would be about an hour. At 805 I was told they were "finishing up" the rotation but the recall might take another hour and a half. I said I would reschedule that. At 830 I was told five minutes and it was not until at 845 I said give me my car I have to go did they actually finish. Having the first appointment of the day I never thought I would be nearly a half hour late to work. This place will definitely be a drop and go place from now on.

Dropping my car off at this dealership for a scheduled service is always stressful. Always a difference service advisor so you don’t know where to go, most of the advisors are MIA and not at their desks. This should be corrected so that customers feel welcome When they check their car in.

My car was one owner car, new brakes, recent oil change, new 2 year warranty battery etc. They want to make thousands off private sellers and private sellers usually have the best cars with a history of receipts to prove it. I was very impressed with the staff at Auto Nation. I wanted to look at vehicle and they of course like most dealers have nothing on the lot. The salesman William said he would contact me if any came in and were available. He owned up to his oro.ise and I was able to view two versions of the vehicle I was interested in. He took time to show me the vehicles go over pricing and was able to look up the vehicle I preferred and color to see when it would be in. If I wanted to wait I could put down a fully refundable deposit to hold the vehicle. He was very nice and thorough. I will admit I am not a fan of the wait and see as they hold my money to view a vehicle that I may or may not want. Trying to purchase a vehicle today seems to take more time with less advantages. I like to test drive, see the interior, the features and not have to wait for months to get a vehicle that fits my style , needs and what If I don't like it when it arrives, I am starting back from the beginning.

Second time at the dealership after we bought a car about four years ago from them. I came in and test drove the car I wanted. Needless to say, I drove off with the same car after Alexxa and the Finance Manager (sorry I forgot your name!) did a fantastic job assisting me and giving me patience. Since I bought my two cars in 2016 in AutoNation Toyota Fort Myers, this was the first time that I received the worst attention. Has been almost 6 years doing maintenance every 5,000 miles and I never got a treatment like this. I can understand some days we have many clients to attend and many jobs to complete, however I won’t accept nobody disrespect me.

One piece of advice, do what you want but don't put a guarantee on it. Lamentable incompetentes . This is a review of the sales team. Excellent team all around from Lisa to Brandon. Very responsive and honest. The bottom part is for the service department. For service I would recommend going somewhere else. Not good Despite having an appt the car was there for 5 hours. Felt rushed. They didn't change the sticker for oil change to indicate the new mileage and the next scheduled oil change. I have an elite maintenance plan that covers manufacturer recommended items and they tried to charge me for the cabin air filter despite being mentioned in owners manual. I received an email from autonation for 1 dollar windshield wiper and they still charged me 57 dollars for them. They didn't honor their own offer. Shady business practices to say the least. I had multiple bad experiences since moving down here 2 years ago Make me wonder if my next car should be another toyota

It took a while for someone to engage with me at first to even put me on the waiting list. But once they did, the service provided was great. I had a nail in my tire and took it to the dealership to get it fixed. At first they were going to charge but after I mentioned that it should be cover per my purchase package they were able to verify it as such. The employees were kind and friendly. I wish that getting my tire fixed did not take 3 almost 4 hours. Other than that a great experience.

I had a 7 am appointment for an oil change. Attendant did not come out until 7:10. At 7:20 my car was still standing in line to be moved to the back parking lot. I was told an oil change would take 2 hours. It certainly did! My time is more valuable than this. Anywhere else an oil change takes 30 minutes. I drove out at 9:20am.

In this crazy market this is the ONLY dealer I would ever go to. No crazy 3- 10k markup on cars. Looked at Hyundai…3k markup that they wouldn’t budge on. Don’t get me started on Honda and their 10k dealer profit. Such greed. AutoNation was honest and very fair. They have just earned my business for a long time to come. Good honest people here. I have taken my Highlander to this dealer for service a few times. I have never gotten out of there in less than two and a half hours. They seem to overbook appointments and get people upset. On my most recent visit there were a number of people very upset and even asking to get their car immediatly. Poor customer service !

For the most part it was okay. I did feel rushed when I was trying to look over the vehicle. Something rattled when I opened the back door, so I inquired and was told something must have broken off in there but it works perfectly. I don't like the rattle and want to know what it is. Nor did they get it detailed by means of the dried on bug guts on the hood and grill. it looks bad in the sunlight. Now I have to pay to get that stuff off. Nor did I get a 2nd key. Otherwise the process was good.

I have ordered a vehicle from this dealer 2 1/2 months ago and for the past 3 weeks they are telling me that the vehicle is on the way to their location in Ft Myers from Jacksonville. They are completely liars and is like the majority of the dealers out there to get your deposit and fight back to get it return and look at the sales numbers. It's a shame how they are playing this situation and want to make believe this scenario the todays normal.

Jeffery in the Service Truck Center is an absolute pleasure to work with; he helped me immediately, and listened to my concerns without suggesting any up-sales or unnecessary add ons. He's very kind and professional. I ordered only an oil change which took a little more than an hour but I found they also did a complimentary walk around for tire pressures, windshield fluids and wiper inspection so the wait really wasn't bad. They had a free coffee station which was surprisingly delicious, and vending machines available in the wait room and I saw they used extra protection on my seats and carpet which I appreciate. Overall, an excellent experience! Only suggestion would be maybe having an obvious sign where to go for service help; as we walked in there are multiple doors on the side of the building and I had to ask two people who to speak to about what I needed done- I thought there would be like a general "customer service desk". Maybe I missed the sign or something as I pulled in but at the end of the day, I'd come back happily. Thank you!

Every time I have visited the service department here they have been awesome! Donald Lacy was my service advisor this time around. He was professional, courteous, and personal! Gary (Salesman) and Raymond (Manager) made the buying experience very easy. Charles (Finance) took his time explaining every detail and answering every question. I was on edge about the warranty since I had already gone with Gap and a warranty from my bank. Charles had Raymond and Morgan (Finance Director) come into the office and explain the differences further - and I was convinced. So Charles worked up a special warranty bundle for me. It was a great buying experience. I am a sales manager for a local family owned store, and I have been in high line Auto Sales (Mercedes Benz). I bought a 2007 Hyundai Tucson from Christina Pagan and couldn't have asked for better service. She is so accommodating. While I was getting financed, she brought the Tucson across the street to get detailed. Auto Nation had new tires on my vehicle, put my license plate on it and even gave me a warranty. Christina was kind enough to drive my car across the street to the Enterprise rental place while I returned the rental car and even had the dealership reimburse me for the $50 it cost me to return to Fort Myers instead of Port Charlotte. She also drove my car back across the street for me so I didn't have to cross the busy traffic and it would be easier to leave from her dealership. I hope, if I ever need another vehicle, Christina is still available for me.

Tommy Ward, our salesman was great to deal with as were the financial and management folks. We got the car we wanted and the financial arrangements were acceptable. The reason we didn't give this 5 stars is because the process was lengthy because the salesman and the mgr. and finance folks had to conference freqquently in another part of the building. During that wait period we sat in a very cold (air conditioned) open area. It would have been more pleasant if there was a comfortable waiting area where we could have been offered complementary beverages, etc.

I put a deposit down on a car. I received a call five days later saying that the car had not passed inspection so I would not be able to buy the car. It has been a week and my deposit has not been refunded. It feels like they're holding my money hostage, even though it was their decision to not let me buy the car. Everything about AutoNation has been but top notch, from the buying process to now service. The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable and put no pressure on us for anything. He just answered all our questions. Same was true for our first service appointment. It was easy to set the appointment and when we brought our Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum for it's 5,000 mile appointment, that also went smooth. They were very busy so it wasn't quick but they had comfortable sitting area with free coffee and other vending machines. I would never buy a new vehicle from any place but AutoNation.

I walked in and was happy initially but once I was looking at cars I was never asked to test drive anything and felt as if I was rushed. Then once I agreed on everything and didn’t even try to haggle down the price even though there is alot of wear and tear and scratches and scuffs I was promised that when I came in the following day the vehicle would be detailed and gassed up. I arrived the following day and completed the paperwork and had to wait over an hr for this process and the vehicle was still being detailed. Once I was told the vehicle was done being detailed and I was ready to go I was told it only had a half a tank of gas even though I was told it would be filled up but it he sales guy didn’t have the gas card to do so and once I got home noticed multiple scuffs and dirt that was never cleaned and had to take it to a place to have it detailed correctly.

My experience with there service department has been good but my experience with Toyota financial services has been a absolute nightmare, I get little to zero help from anybody at Toyota about this. I'm currently just trying to transfer a vehicle from state to state and I can't transfer my title no matter how many times I send a request for them to send my information I'm being thrown through the loops and landing back at the starting point everytime . Needless to say this will be the last Toyota anyone in my family will ever buy. Thank you Toyota for showing us your true colors.

I have been there more than a few times for scheduled maintenance which is covered under my warranty. A schedule maintenance takes minimum 2 some times over 3 hours to complete. if you don't check with the service people after some time, you can count on waiting longer and they make you feel like you are a burden. Yes, I get it, it's busy, that's why we make appointments. What would be the point of making an appointment if they can't keep it?

As a rule, I bring my car elsewhere to trusted mechanics where I get better friendlier service that almost always costs less than what I would pay here. The reason I came here was they offered a free oil change I guess to bring me back which I can say was very nice I have to say. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and courteous, my scheduled appointment was for 8:00 AM. Was checked in a little before 8:00 AM for an oil change and tire rotation and checked out minutes before 11:00 AM. My service advisor said my appointment would take from 1:45 to 2 hours which seems more than enough time to complete job but almost 3 hours is to long.

Bought my Tacoma new there when it was Ft. Myers Toyota. It came with a lifetime warranty on the engine and drivetrain. Always had my service done there, dozens of times,to insure the warranty would remain intact, even though I knew I was paying premium prices and having questionable procedures done. Was concerned about my warranty when AutoNation took over, but they honored it when the water pump needed to be replaced. Recently I was in for service and was told that a seal was “pissing oil” which I found strange since my driveway is spotless. I was also told at that time that the original warranty would no longer be honored. Took it to my neighborhood Mom and Pop shop who confirmed that there was NO oil leak. That straw broke this camels back. That type of dishonesty is intolerable. Looks like I’ll be buying my new Tundra somewhere else.

The car was maintained and bought up to service specs as recommended by the manufacture. All is good so far. Lots of people there, was able to leave in time to make my appointment. The Wi-Fi was great while I waited the 2 hours. Nothing else was found wrong. I am happy about that. Going back in December for my 6 months checkup, rotate tires and oil change.

My regular guy in the Service Department was out that day so I got someone else who also turned out to be wonderful and cuz I'm elderly he explained everything fully so that I totally understood. Went in to have my oil changed. The oil change was conducted as normal. They said they inspected my brakes, but either my brakes are repairing themselves or a brake inspection wasn’t done. My brakes are rated as having a higher life as of yesterday then they were 15,000 miles ago, which doesn’t make any sense. I keep my service records in case there are issues. On top of that the service department couldn’t take 2 seconds to remove a clump of grass that was hanging on the under carriage of the car. They also forgot to put a sticker for the mileage in the vehicle to indicate when I should return. It was storming heavily, so when they parked my car and I went to get in it, it had to get back out in the rain and go back into the service department to ask when my next appointment should be because there was no sticker. Typically the service here is better, but yesterday was more than subpar.

I like the dealership but hate the wait time. The people in the front were courteous but could do a better job of keeping customers updated on the progress of their service. Although I had an appointment I waited over 3 hours 🙄 while they perform an Oil Change. Felt like torture. Best to have someone pick you up while they service your vehicle.

This dealership appears to be continuing to recover from its extreme difficulties in service dept. operations that it experienced during the bulk of the pandemic-related staffing shortages, consequently cars are being taken at both the automobile and truck service counters and the wait due to large numbers of customers trying to catch up on delayed servicing was a *bit* longer than it was pre-pandemic - my pre-scheduled oil change and multi-point inspection (resulting in no further services being needed) was completed about 2.75 hours from the time it was scheduled for. And this dealership is no longer including a free basic car wash with scheduled maintenance visits. Beyond that service seemed good, the customer area was clean and staff seemed generally cheerful. It was good to see the place back in operation again.

I brought my car in for routine maintenance. I had a 10 am appointment and there were about a half dozen cars ahead of me so I thought it would be a long wait. But at about 10:10 Darius came out and brought me into rhe service center and went over what they were going to do. He said it would be about 90 minutes. The waiting area was crowded but there were plenty of seats and decent coffee and a vending machine. I waited a little over an hour and a half and my car was done. Everyone was polite and professional. A good experience overall. And because Toyota gives you free maintenance on a leased vehicle for the length of the lease I didn't pay a dime. 😃

I bought my Toyota Highlander from Auto Nation, previously owned, and have never looked back. The service is spectacular, a service rep is assigned to each customer and the stay with you. I have tremendous respect for my service rep and she has never steered me wrong: Consistently communicates, always checks price, ensures I am happy and the car has been properly prepared or maintained. worst car buying expierence ever! The person who handled thr business portion was fired shortly after i purchased my car. So every single thing he did was screwed up. My warranty was never put in, registration took 2 and a half months to transfer a tag (2 weeks of which they told me it was transfered and it wasnt so i was riding around basically with a tag that didnt belong to my vehicle.), title was never finished so i couldnt secure a new warranty through my finacial institue (issue has still not been resolved almost 3 months later). i get there are bad employees, I am a business owner, but since then no effort at all has beenade to resolve all the issues this bad employee caused. ive made over 20 phone calls and gone in 4 times to try and get issues resolved with no luck. My entire family has always shopped for vehicles with suto nation, that is over now.

Overall a great experience. I started at Honda and they were a dumpster fire. Over 45 min for them just to find a car to look at so I left and went to Toyota. Sales rep Tom was fantastic getting me everything I needed. Finance rep Richard was aggressive and short but we eventually got a deal worked out that I was happy with. Several dealer upcharges such as $299 tint, $279 floor mats were on invioce and were not even in the car... Additional charges for items I didnt want were "already on the car" such as $699 service plan and more. It a total of took 4+ hours negotiating back and forth to finally get everything sorted. Tom was amazing and did everything he could to keep me happy and eventually make the sale. I love my new Toyota!!

I took my car in for service today. I got everything done so it was extremely expensive but was okay because I just wanted my car serviced. When I got home I noticed there was spots on the front hood that were not there when I initially took my car this morning. It looks like somebody spilled an entire cup of soda and didn’t even bother to try to wipe it. I received my car disgustingly dirty. Extremely disappointed. For the amount of money I paid I would have gotten my car detailed a couple times over. Absolutely never going back to this place for anything.

Good day to all, just had to leave a note of appreciation for the experience I had at the AutoNation here in Ft. Myers. From start to finish the process was by far the best car buying experience I have ever been apart of. Inquired about a vehicle online, I was contacted by the Internet sales manager, Jose, who informed me that the vehicle was in stock and invited me to come in for a test drive. At the dealership we inspected the vehicle, we noticed the price was exactly the same as online which made us feel like they were being honest and upfront. Next we went inside crunched some numbers with finance manger Dante, who also was upfront and honest about what we needed to make the deal work. We needed to take a day to review the numbers so we shook hands and told them we would think about it. The following day we contacted Jose to see if the vehicle was still available and he said yes and told us to come on in. To our surprise when we arrived, Jose had parked the vehicle upfront, washed, cleaned and full of gas😁 Went inside next, we had all our paperwork they requested. Lastly, we met with the awesome Ms. Jazmyn, who helped us review and finalize all the vehicle docs. AutoNation of Ft. Myers is truly an example of how "teamwork makes the dream work". Made an appointment for 8:05am. Was called up to go over services 10min later. Told oil change wasn’t needed but tire rotation and change of fluids. I requested for the tire change and brake fluid change. Waited over 4 hours for this to be completed until I finally asked is everything ok. Service member stated she would go check and comes back apologizing asking if I would like to go to the mall . Stated mechanic still had 45min left. 5 hours for tire rotation and brake fluid change is unacceptable

I brought my car back for routine service because of an offer received by phone for free service. I was thinking of changing to a local mechanic, as service is expensive at the dealership. I waited 2.5 hours, even with an appointment, most of it outdoors since people were not masked and I am covid concerned. They once washed your car, and said they would on the phone, but said the equipment is down still, so did not. Happy to have this done gratis, but not sure I will continue when I pay full fare.

The automated telephone system is totally useless to those who do not possess or use computers. It is totally unresponsive in an emergency automobile problem. Maybe if someone there tries using it themselves it will lead to a system where one can at least reach someone's ear. As it is now, it just says someone will respond in "less than a minute" which is pure BS--yesterday I waited more than 10 minutes before I hung up in distress.

This place has the worst auto service department I have ever used. They are always understaffed. A simple oil and filter change takes 2+ hours, even with an appointment. This has happened multiple times, with both early morning and afternoon appointments. Liz Detwiler has a big sign up by the coffee station claiming that customers are their #1 priority. Really? Then hire some staff or stop overbooking appointments. Liz, please fly out to Mel Rapton Honda in Sacramento, California and see how an excellent auto service department is run.

It was the end of a long day of car shopping and after the last stop we had enough. Time to head home. While driving down the road there was something stopping all the traffic. While sitting there we were in grimy of Auto nation toyota. I asked my wife if she wanted to drive through. She said yes and that began the best experience we've ever had buying a car. Tommy was a hassle free guy with the answers to every question we had. A nice test drive and then when we were done he gave us his card and asked us to call him if we had any questions. Mind you he already knew we weren't interested in going inside just wanted to get home. We weren't in a position we needed a car but it was an option if the right one came along. I called the next morning and asked him to clean it up and e were taking it. Everything was ready when we got there and even it being a Sunday we were in and out . Tommy and Marc were great and better than that my wife is so happy with her new 4runner. She never had liked going to a dealership but I'll tell you what, the courtesy and respect of the staff understanding you and your needs goes a long way. We will certainty go back and would recommend this dealership to everyone. Job well done team auto nation Toyota!!

I first spoke with Nick and made a second visit to put a deposit on a Camry Hybrid. Nick was unavailable and Wolfgang stepped in to help me. Long story short, my first choice of vehicle, a new Prius, had just come on the lot. I had decided on the Camry because the lead time for Priuses was into next year. Not only did they keep my car for almost two weeks for tire replacement, they did not stay in contact and were difficult to get in touch with. They charged me about the cost of my entire car for three tires! It was covered by my insurance, but because it was so much, I had to pay out of my own pocket too! No notification from them at all, just 3 tires for a 2006 and they charged $740.00!! I told my insurance company that if I had a say, I would take them OUT of my network.

I went into the Service Center at 7am for an oil change. I told them I needed one rear brake light bulb replaced also. After 2 hours the service person came out and asked if I wanted the brake light fixed. I ended up being there 3 hours! Totally not acceptable. I will not be going back.

I went to AN for my cars 2nd oil change/check up. The 1st two are complimentary with purchase of the $34,000 car…Aside from the actual oil change, Whether or not they did everything they say they did is up for debate. Fluid check/fill all “good”? Not windshield wiper fluid… was half full when I arrived and when I departed. I can’t speak for the others. Tire rotation??? No Comment since I can’t say for sure. Also, I had a question about the $150 (or $250 I don’t remember)floor mats that are under warranty Unfortunately I forgot to ask up front so I asked at the end. The gentleman took pictures and said he would call me. That was Monday today is Wednesday… I’ll give him until Friday then I’ll follow up with a call. Staff were very friendly. Considering how busy they were,the car came out and finished fast. The wait was less then an hour! SPECIAL HATS OFF to the folks checking you in upon arrival!!! I’m not sure how they do it but they keep that line organized in order of arrival and appointment time. They got it down to a science and I am in awe of them! That’s all I got! JH

Went there for a routine oil change and did not leave for 5 1/2 hours. They only did not contact me correctly but they couldn’t find the tire key, which should be in the glove compartment since they used it last. Very bad with communicating and don’t care about their customers. I didn’t even get a sorry. Will never get a car from their place and will no longer go for the free oil changes, I’d rather pay $50 to go somewhere else with better service.

No back and forth with the sales manager.The whole sales department and any person I talked to more than helpful from the receptionist to sales to finance all did their job well. Got me the best interest rate got me to a comfortable payment that was good for me. But the best thing about it was the time factor from the time I walked in checked the car out made the deal and got the car detailed and fueled up less than three hours. I have to tell you auto nation did me right. I’ve been looking for a small size Toyota truck to pull my tear drop camper. My girlfriend and I went there one Saturday to look around mr. Miller showed us a few trucks he thought would be nice. And then he said he had a 2012 Toyota v6 prerunner double cab. It was in the body shop and I said can you show it to us. Low and behold we bought the truck and the service was absolutely fantastic. Automation was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend looking around for a new or used car at automation.

I would not recommend taking your car there for a good detail. I took my 2015 Toyota Highlander in for a “presidential detail” that costs a little over $300 with tax. This job took them 24 hrs and I went home with i rental from enterprise that I also had to pay for. This is supposed to be the “top notch” detail Im guessing but I am extremely unhappy with the job to say the least 👎 there were still food in between the seats, and on the floor , dirt in my cup holders and still dried milk splatters on my doors and my all of my seats from my kids throwing there bottles in my car . I complained to the service advisor Gillian who was kind enough to tell one of her guys to wipe off the milk splatters which is all I noticed at the time I was picking up my car. Gillian did her job. But whoever did the detail on my car did NOT! When I got home and my husband took a good look at the “president detail” they did on my car and he was LIVID ! I called in and spoke to Tom the service manager and he was fast at trying finding a solution and asked me to bring it back in to get the job re-done. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if I didn’t Live almost 45 min away with all the traffic in swfl. I’m trying not to over react here but I can’t help but feel kind of played out of my time and money…Honestly , Does this look “Presidential” to you ?

While visiting my in-laws we stopped by early for an oil change since we had a gap in the vacation activities. Service advisor was nice enough and it was getting busy early, I was there at 6:45. I waited an hour and 40 mins approx. for an oil change and tire rotation on our 2020 Highlander. I was shocked when the bill was $128. This was way more than my dealer in Georgia would normally charge me. I mentioned it and the advisor just grinned and said it would be waiting in the lot. I won’t be back even though we have purchased from the dealer before and it’s fairly close to my in-laws. I’ll take my Toyota to Lexus if I need service in the future while visiting.

I have been a customer of AutoNation Toyota for years for maintenance on three Camry sedans. Using covid-19 as an excuse the drop off and pickup service was discontinued. Two years later you either rent a vehicle or wait. Service used to be very efficient. Often I was in by 7:30 out by 8:30 for an oil change. The vehicle was also run through a car wash. Now there is no car wash. Must be a covid-19 problem. The bagels were never the best, but you can guess -- no bagels and cream cheese. Covid-19 has really taken a toll on the services at AutoNation Toyota.

First, the Service Dept breaks my wheel cover when rotating my tires, and puts a zip tie on it and doesn't let me know it occurred. Then, when going back into dealership for a scheduled appt to have a new wheel cover installed, I am told it would have to be ordered and lied to about them attempting to reach me in advance to let me know. Supposedly, the phone rang and rang. I have an answering machine on that line which always works. So, they are now going to contact me when the part arrives. That was 2 months ago, and I've still not heard back. I've called 3 times and left messages to call me, but have heard nothing. I would never recommend this Service Dept to anyone. Very poor service from an irresponsible dealership.

Took vehicle in for maintenance which was supposed to be free. I have Toyota care & the Platinum Plan. I was told that because I didn't bring vehicle in before 1 yr anniversary I had to pay for the rotation & alignment. I had to wait 2 months to get in to service. We also had to wait for 3 hrs for oil change & tire rotation. I do not think their service plans should be purchased as they are a rip off. Extremely poo customer service.

My daughter and I had the most amazing experience when we visited the dealership last week to purchase a new Rav 4 Hybrid for her. We spoke with sales manager Kurt Church, weeks preceding our visit, and left a deposit on an incoming unit. Upon our arrival at the dealership Steve Reeves the GSM greeted us as if we were old friends and completed the paperwork for our purchase. My previous experience as a GSM and sales manger for several dealerships over a 25 yr career had me prepared for the negotiations I knew were coming. To my surprise none were needed! We paid a fair price for the vehicle, no surprise add ons, no market area adjustment fees and they did not try to steal her trade by offering her less than the actual value. We're down in Ft Myers during the winter and our Highlander Hybrid always needs its recommended service - the facility is ALWAYS crowded but seems to be very efficient in getting me in - and getting me back out again. The service dept even took time to set my NEW phone up ( bluetooth to the car ) as it didn't work when I was following along in the owners manual. I would recommend this dealership !!

Terrible customer service. Once you buy the car they no longer care about you. They told me they were cancelling the warranties on me trade in. Then after 4 weeks and still nothing I reached out and they told me I have to do it and they would get me a copy of the odometer reading. 4 weeks later and I’m still waiting on that copy. Told me “someone might get back to me” when I call. Absolutely terrible. Buy elsewhere!!!

I had been searching for a truck/car for about a week with little success. I looked at dealer inventories and search platforms with mostly frustrating results and very poor communications. AutoNation 's ad seemed attractive, so my wife and I called and then went there one afternoon not really intending to make a purchase. My second attempt at using their service department was as bad as the first. This place lacks integrity and provides poor customer service. I asked to speak to Tom the service manager and was told he had an emergency, I had just seen him in the floor. I was told “we double book to make up the business because we are short staffed,” I said customers should be told that at time of appointment. I was told a third party makes appointments, a lie, I made my appt directly with the advisor’s direct line I had in my phone, she forgot to log my appt. When I called to confirm they said I had no appt! They put me again then when I got there I wasn’t on the list. I waited 2 and a half hours for a simple scheduled maintenance oil change which should take no more then 45 minutes. What a disappointment. I will never recommend or use your dealership again. You’ll do not represent what Toyota stands for quality and excellence.

I showed up for scheduled oil change at my appointment time and was told it would be three hours because they were busy and staff shortages. My opinion is if your that short staffed quit over scheduling. I asked for my keys back and complained but they didn’t seem to care and I left. Customer service is important and if they would have been more compassionate it would have made a difference. I’ll take my service elsewhere and when I buy my new Toyota it won’t be at this dealership.

Yesterday I went to auto nation to have the locking lug nuts replaced on my 2019 Camry . The parts Person had recommended that I make an appointment to speed things up so I did not have to wait too long. I got there and received amazing customer service from Michele, my service adviser and the young woman in parts. I did have to wait almost 90 min for the work to be done, but Michele kept me updated and kept checking on things. I was very pleased with my interaction with both areas. Thank you so much!

I had a oil change appt at 9. When I checked in at 9, I was told that it would be 2 hours. At 11:30, I asked the service advisor the status of my car, he said he would check on it. At 11:45 he said it had not yet gone in yet and it was going to be another hour and half. I asked to see the service manger. At 11:55, I was told it was the next on the list. I drove out at 12:30…..Nothing more to be said.

The price is great and the vehicle had all the Carfax information I could look up the history which was great to have some piece of mind! The dealership offers 5 days or 250 miles return if you don’t like the vehicle no questions asked! Also they have 90 days 4000 miles limited warranty as well that you get for more piece of mind! They fill up the vehicle, detail it for you before you drive it away, the service is outstanding!! Not good Despite having an appt the car was there for 5 hours. Felt rushed. They didn't change the sticker for oil change to indicate the new mileage and the next scheduled oil change. I have an elite maintenance plan that covers manufacturer recommended items and they tried to charge me for the cabin air filter despite being mentioned in owners manual. I received an email from autonation for 1 dollar windshield wiper and they still charged me 57 dollars for them. They didn't honor their own offer. Shady business practices to say the least. It is not a good dealership. I had multiple bad experiences since moving down here 2 years ago It makes me wonder if my next car should be another toyota

I visited the dealership recently for a simple (non-mechanical) repair. The brackets securing a fog light were damaged and needed to be replaced. The part(s) were expensive enough BUT I was billed for 90 minutes of labor = $250!!! After the work was repaired, my vehicle sat on the lot outside the waiting room windows for nearly 30 minutes before I was called to pay for the work… My question: How long did my vehicle sit in the service bay while NO work was being performed ??? I find it difficult to believe this simple repair required 90 minutes of a mechanic’s billable time, unless the mechanic is incompetent. This charge is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Another home run for the Autonation Toyota Fort Myers team. This is our second 4runner from these great people and even though we live 2 hours away and pass a dozen Toyota dealers on the way there we wouldn’t have it any other way. Stephen Reeves the GSM and Lisa helped us with our first one. When I saw this Limerush online I reached out to Stephen and he hooked us up again, gave us a price 12000 less than what some other dealers are asking on TRD pros. He got everything taken care of for us before we arrived so when we got there we met with Morgan the finance director and signed and were on our way, no long waits no back and fourth. Can’t say enough good things about these people and will be back for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Toyotas in the upcoming years.

We were ready to purchase today…waited 3 hours for them to complete an appraisal on our 2 cars for trade in only for them to come back with the exact same dollar amount to the penny of what our loan payoff was (a number we gave them 3 hours prior). The waiting area was a huge disappointment. The coffee machine was not working. The WIFI was not working. One of the TV's didn't work. When I tried to book the appt. from the email, there was no record of my cell phone (or my wife's). The on board screen was not reset properly following the oil change.

I finally was informed by one of the service advisers (not the adviser assigned to me) that there were several people ahead of me, and must wait longer before I would speak with a service adviser to discuss the repairs etc. I was also told that the garage mechanics were short staffed I am puzzled why Autonation does not honor appointments? Why bother making appointments if you have to wait more than an hour to be helped? As such, I left without getting the work done on my vehicle. Walked into the showroom, not a soul greeted me, totally fine, I realize things get busy, once I asked for a salesperson I was informed they “don’t allow test drives” absolutely 🤡’s. In order to buy a car I had to go to the other side of the road and talked to the used car folks to test drive a 10 year old truck. From there I promptly purchased it. Literal clowns at the sales desk. I mean rainbow haired red nose honkers. These dudes are so full of themselves Ps. Yesterday I walked into the used car building, got offered help as soon as I walked up. I then met with Lisa since I already submitted info online to look at a 4Runner that ended up not working out due to financing that year. They then got me into something that was more affordable a Highlander. They made sure I got what I came there for, a bigger vehicle since I’ve always owned small cars. Austin worked with me on the payment I could afford and turn my whole day around. Donte was on point with explaining all of my questions. My family and I have all had vehicles from Toyota for the last 20+ years. We have been faithful customers. I had my oil change scheduled this last Saturday and the whole experience was a mess. When I booked my appointment, they asked if I needed a car to use while mine was being serviced. I let them know that I did, as I have children I needed to pick up within a specific time frame. After getting there and waiting almost an hour, they then informed me that the place they provide their cars from, is closed on Saturdays. I was left scrambling to try and figure out how to go about getting my kids. The guy I was dealing with told me I could take my car and bring it back another time for an oil change, which was baffling to me because that’s why I specifically made an appointment. Then, after being there for over an hour and 20 minutes, he informs me that their van can drop me off at the enterprise to get a car rental that I need to pay for. I didn’t really have much of a choice at that point, so I took the option. By the time their van pulled up (another 20+ minutes), my car STILL had not been taken back to be serviced. I got the rental and an hour later got the text that my car was ready, essentially wasting my money on the rental. THEN, I got an email from Toyota stating that I had missed my appointment and to call them to reschedule. Aside from this whole mess, I have informed Toyota on SEVERAL occasions, that my dad is deceased and to remove him from my account. Sure enough, each time they contacted me, they asked for my dad. I wasn’t exactly thrilled about being referred to as my father, when I have asked them many times to please take him off the account and then needing to repeat to them more times than I can count, that he had passed away. To say I was displeased with my experience, would be an understatement. I do not take my car there to be serviced because it is the cheapest option, I take it there to be a loyal customer. I could easily take it elsewhere, save myself some money and have my oil changed at a much faster pace. I won’t be using their service department for my vehicle anymore. They did not offer to rectify the situation in any fashion and didn’t really seem to care of the inconvenience they had caused.

84-month battery installed by Toyota in 2017. Phone rep says I have to bring it in, in the vehicle that won’t jump… “yes, tow it”. Phone rep has the service record, but needs me to bring in original receipt. Phone rep says need to bring it to service… service rep says I need to bring it to parts… part rep says I have to bring it back to service. (It’s getting heavy, about now) Service rep can’t find the service record the phone rep found, now that we’re here. Last year of five-year battery… battery clearly says “84-months”, with 5/17 date stamp. Have to wait to have battery tested… waited an hour, went to NAPA… benefited from their “know how”. You win Auto-Nation… we left… didn’t have to give us the 25% prorate. However, years of servicing and multiple cars bought has ended. Nicely played Auto-Nation.

Hostile, rude, liars. We had a pretty simple purchase- test drove a used car that was new to the lot and not cleaned yet, put down a deposit. We patiently waited for them to clean it. Told it would be 2 days, but then it turned into a week. During that week we had three different misinformed, rude people call from the dealership- Jose, Austin, and Brandon. Mike the manager out did them all with a show stopping level of rudeness. The calls were threatening that they were going to keep our deposit and resell the car because we had not picked it up (but it was not ready!). We picked up the car 4 hrs after it was finally ready, and we live 2 hrs away, but on the drive there got a message they planned to put it back on the lot. We were also told it came with three keys and were provided with three key FOBs at time of purchase. We found only one worked after we left the lot upon completing the sale. Jose said take them to get reprogrammed, so we took them to a Toyota and learned that was not possible. So 2 days after the sale we asked to get two more working FOBs to replace the useless ones they gave us. We waited a few days for a response before being told they will replace one only, we did not agree and still wanted two, but went to the dealership to get one. They wasted our time and after driving 2 hrs there and spending the better part of a workday on it, they did NOT give us a FOB, said they were going to repossess the car, which is ridiculous. They complained that they had not received payment from the credit union that financed us (it was a week after the purchase) . We learned from the credit union the dealership did not provide wire instructions with the contract so they bank had to mail an old fashioned paper check. No one's fault but their own. They complained how they are not making any money on this deal, and they want to cancel the contract and repossess the car (they could not). Did not provide any keys to replace the 2 FOB "dummies" they gave us. Rude, threatening behavior from manager instead of problem solving. Two FOBs, we would have been happy customers. All you can discern from this experience is they are disorganized, liars, and bullies. I think they were attempting to do a yo-yo fraud scheme and resell the car, thankfully we did not finance with them. Shady, unreasonable, and down right abusive. Buyer beware! 100% do not use their financing if you have another option as they can not be trusted. I would not want them holding the lien on my car, since they are so disorganized, make many administrative mistakes, then go right to angry voicemail threats about taking car back. Disorganized, disrespectful, dishonest. 0/10 stars for service!

Had a nightmare Nissan Altima, came down to Fort Myers to look at 4-Runners, I’ve had many in the past & knew what I wanted. Met Vinny, he showed me what they had, picked the one I wanted and was driving it home the next day. He’s hysterical and was a huge help. Absolutely recommend going to see him if you need a new car, he made the car buying process actually enjoyable!!

I have a hybrid car. Simple service, had Togo to truck area. Just rotated tires. Changed radio, seat and several knobs on auto system. Parked car right up to another car and then another right in the rear. When buying car no real orientation to the car was given. Once they have your money you are on your own.

The sales team is great, service much to be desired. Bought car 2 months ago. Hearing noise that sounded to me to be a tire issue. Went in for scheduled service, chose not to buy when I bought the car, however wanted them to check the tire noise. Service drove it, said it was a wheel bearing not a tire!! 22,000 is all the vehicle had on it. Didn’t check to see if it was a bearing, only drove it. Tire shop Friday, the guys checked it was a tire issue !!!! Sorry service, lost a possible sale that went elsewhere. I’ll buy cars from them, however will never use their service!!!

2+ hours for a simple oil change on a scheduled appointment first thing in the morning. Booked online using an offer for $30 service, and at time of service signed an estimated total of $32, at checkout the bill was $140 because they used synthetic without my knowledge, approval, or desire. Customer service agent could not care less and literally shrugged his shoulders when I told him this was unethical and I was totally dissatisfied. I had a 12:15 appointment, at 2:30 I asked when my car would be ready. The girl went back to check, came back and said 20 minutes. That's how long the entire oil change should have taken. Finally got my car back at 3:40! What happened to 20 minutes? What happened to making an appointment? 3 1/2 hours, with an appointment, for an oil change is completely unacceptable! I bought my Toyota C-HR in January 2018. I love my car and have been pleased with the service until my last two visits. I made an appointment for service a few months ago and had to wait over three hours. Today, I had the unfortunate experience of a dead battery. Called Toyota and they said it was under warranty. I told them the car was dead. Could I just pick up a battery. They said I had to bring the car in. I ended up taking advantage of my emergency roadside service to get my car to Toyota. I arrived at 10:35 AM and was told it would be a 2-3 hour wait. This did not make me happy because I needed to get to work. I received no updates whatsoever and am just now leaving after 3:00 PM. I could have just bought a battery for what it cost me in a days work.

I was told my new Truck needed service at 5k. My Truck then told me as well and constantly reminded me. Turns out the service was for a tire rotation and not a full service. I was displeased, but since i was already there and had an appointment i figured what the heck. The tech tells me 40 minutes tops. I thought that was kind of lengthy, but decided to stay. It ended up being 2 hours. I went looking for my truck. It was in the finished section. No idea how long it had been there. I then had to track down my service tech and tell him it was done. I also told him i was very unhappy how long this took. I planned on no longer then 1 hour. Screwed up the rest of my afternoon😡

This visit was terrible. I had an appointment for 11:10 for simple servicing at 30,000 miles and tire rotation. I arrived at 10:40 and was not taken of until 11:20. Many coming after me lined up in second aisle. There were three cars coming after me that got taken care before me. Service rep said it would take 2 hours. Three hours plus I finally got my car, and that was only after checking with rep in between time. All I got was, "I'm sorry".

Toyota has been my car of choice since the mid 1980's. I cite the performance and value of the vehicles and the efficient service among my reasons. However, I am sorry to say that my last five experiences with Toyota service have been lacking. Since three different dealerships (Riverhead, NY, Silver Springs, MD and Fort Myers) are involved I can only suspect that the problem comes from the corporate level, that Toyota has cut back on help and is making those workers who remain take up the slack with amounts of work that are impossible to do up to the standards of customer satisfaction. All five incidents had several things in common: difficulty getting someone on the telephone to make an appointment, a gross underestimation of the amount of time the service would take, no information readily available when I called to inquire about the progress of the service and no unsolicited notification when the service was complete. This is our third vehicle with this dealership, in the past I’ve had no problems until we received this last vehicle. A brand new 2021 Highlander, with the roof rubber items coming off when driving on the highway. The first time I was scheduled to have this fixed, I sat there for two hours before they told me they didn’t have The parts. The second time I was scheduled there I waited over an hour for you to tell me you had no service technicians to work on my car. It takes me over an hour to drive there to sit twice and take time off of work and not have anything done with the vehicle. The third and final time it was completed however I was highly aggravated because the communication between your staff and customers need to improve greatly.

This was the third time I was scheduled for the same reason, the first time I came to have some things replaced on the roof of my car I sat there for two hours and nothing was completed because you didn’t have the parts. The second time I was scheduled I sat there for an hour then you came over and told me that you had no service technicians to work on my car. By the third scheduled visit it was completed, however I was highly aggravated since I had to drive an hour to get there the first two times and take time off work. I just bought a Cadillac elr. I was told that the cup holder would be fix as it doesn't close. When I arrived I was told the mechanic could not fix it. I asked again about fixing. I was told to use my warranty. If the mechanic could not fix the first time. How would it be fixed the second time. I'm really disappointed on how this situation was handled. The buying process took in excess of 4 hours and I wasn't told what was happening. I finally got approved for a vehicle. It was after 7pm, my new vehicle was dropped off at the handicapped ramp with the door open, I was let out of the building buy the finance manager, all the inside lights of the dealership were shut off and all employess left for the night. I was left alone outside in the dark with a vehicle that I had never seen and did not test drive while the dealership was closed up for the night. I was alone, since I am a single person, to find out how to operate the vehicle. I drove it home in the dark. I did go back to the dealership the next day to get the vehicle detailed as it was not done the night before I believe this is poor salesmanship and very rude of the saleslady, Lisa. She should have stayed to make certain that I was well cared for;

I don't have a problem with the service writer, she (Shelley) gives good customer service. The service dept. is another story. I had my car there at 7:00am for an appt. for a problem with my battery. I didn't leave there until after 9:00---for a battery!!!---a 10minute installation, if that. What the heck were they doing for the other 2hrs.? Your guess is a good as mine. If the car wasn't still under warranty, I wouldn't ever go back. How long do you think it would take if you really had something wrong that needed a lot of work? I guess you would have to spend the night, or maybe the week.

Told only Toyota service center in area. Recommended major repairs but I want second opinion as I?m not sure I trusted their findings. Told me I have oil leak. When I was on the hunt for a car because I got into a car accident at the beginning of February, my first place was this dealership because a friend told me to go check it out! When I made the appointment i didnt know it was for the new car side because I know I NEVER get approved for a new car but my salesman, Alex and his manager was the best of the best! I have gone for service at this location in Ft Myers for 25 years. Service has gone steadily down hill in the past two years. This time I just had a battery that would not charge. I waited for the repair from 2:45 to 6:30 and was told there was nothing wrong with the battery and that it tested well. When I asked if they tested to see if something else that was not working was causing it to not charge, they said I would have to come back another day because their technician had gone home. That is after 3 hours and 45min of waiting. In the past they would have checked it out totally and reported what the problem was within an hour and a half with or without an appointment. Very disappointed and taking my vehicles elsewhere in the future.

A problem was found with the calipers on my car because they squeak when backing up. I was told it would cost $900 to repair. I was also told that the car was still safe to drive and that if it had been under warranty the calipers would be changed at no charge. I read online that calipers should last about 10 years or 100 000 miles. My car is only 3 1/2 years old and had only 8256 miles on it at that time. I do not see how the calipers would have been affected by such minimal use. Therefore I think they were not correctly installed at the time of manufacture and that, the dealer should just replace them for free. It definitely should not cost me $900 as the car is almost brand new in terms of usage. Needless to say I did not have the calipers changed for such an outrageous price.

I had service on my 1996 Toyota Corolla, milage 198,900. The last time I had new plugs and tuneup was 135,500 miles. So the work I had done Basic Tuneup, spark plugs, cord wire set, Distributor Roeder and cap assembly, Fuel injector and air and take cleaning services. The cord wire set, distributor and cap was the first time I had replaced those parts since I bought the car. I'm pleased with the scheduling and diagnosis of the engine warning light issue and Auto Nation Toyota Fort Myers services, my thanks to Delray S. who assisted me.

Why 3 plus hours for an oil change and tire rotation? This time I left my car, was told I would receive a text, never occurred or a phone call when the car was done. I called later in the day, no answer. I went to pick up my car, no service reps around. The parts department agent helped me, they found my keys and said thanks. Where was my car? I had to search the lit for it. This is the worst service I have received from Auto Nation!

We had looked on the internet all over SWFL and decided to test drive at the Ft. Meyers store. The supply is limited and we were only interested in the 2WD model. Hunter our sales person showed us their inventory and let us test drive a unit similar to what we wanted. We like it but it was not the exact model we wanted. He checked all the incoming units and found one that we liked.

I had been looking for a rather rare car for my wife, a Cadillac XLR, for several years and finally found a good conditioned one at a fair price at my local AutoNation store. I wanted to trade in one of my existing cars, rather than wait to sell it privately and lose out on the rather rare car in good condition that my wife had wanted for years. I knew that would cost me a few thousand dollars, but the initial trade-in offer was ridiculously low. After several back and forths to multiple managers, we finally got close enough. So it's not a "haggle-free" process. But overall, I was satisfied with the final price.

It has been 59 days and counting since I bought a car from this dealership which I paid in full and after almost two months still no license plates in sight...Salesperson won't return my texts and they won't follow up on any of my emails or phone calls regarding this issue... What is the purpose of having a new car if it cannot be driven because the temp plate is expired and they refuse to issue a new one because "the person in charge of requesting the permanent plates will have to redo the paperwork again...

Made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. Showed up at the time was told it would be 2 -3 hours before our car would be done. I said for an appointment? The answer is yes in the meantime they found that we had a recall on our gas pump. Ended up rescheduling getting a rental car for the day, and it all worked out. I just felt I should?ve been told from the get go that with an appointment it will take 2 to 3 hours when I scheduled the appointment. The kicker was they said if you were a walk in, it would be the end of the day, why were you taking walk-ins it should have been appointment only, to take care of their customers that had appointments?

I took the car in for normal servicing. After a couple hours, they called to say the air conditioner box, etc. needed replacing at a cost around $150. Driving it home, the air conditioner made noise and almost no air came out. On the phone, "bring it in anytime, we will fix it right away." When I did, "hours of wait today" Instead of waiting, I ended up researching how to do it myself on YouTube. Doubt I will ever return.

My wife bought her car (a 2021 Highlander) and it took us roughly 7 hours at the dealership to get everything settled. By the time we left the dealership it was almost a quarter after 8pm and it was getting dark out. Of course with the vehicle being black we couldn’t see the shotty work that the detailing team did to her car. Of course my wife has to work so she didn’t get to bringing the vehicle back right away. There are hard water marks either waxed or polished into the paint to the point that even their own detailing team couldn’t remedy their own mistake. The sales rep informed us that it will have to be seen by another detailing company who will have to use a special chemical to remove the trapped water spots and that this can happen if they don’t dry the car fast enough during detailing. While we are currently waiting on this mysterious other company to call and schedule an appointment, I can’t help but think that this shouldn’t have gone this far in the first place. A new car off the lot should not have to be seen by a 3rd party company less than a week after being driving off the lot because of dealership mistakes. Fingers crossed that this other company eventually calls us back. But for now I can not recommend anyone use this dealership. All that said, it seems like our sales person is doing everything he can to remedy our situation, that however does not negate what is currently going on

Came here on a recommendation from a neighbor to see Tommy Ward. Excellent Customer Service and price. Best overall experience purchasing a car eveeer. He was knowlegeable and attentive. If he was not sure, he found out and we had an answer, not the rushed or pressured feel. He took the time to answer any questions (and also survived 2 test drives!!)

The absolute worst experience at a dealership. My salesperson was great; however, the process was horrible. I waited forever for the car to get detailed and it didn’t; it was so dirty that my allergies activated immediately due to the dust. I had to bring it back the next day only to wait another 3 hours for nothing. It needed a part for the USB, and it took them over two weeks to fix. I had to keep calling and asking for updates. The detail team was highly careless and did a horrible job. I would not recommend this dealership because my salesperson did everything he could, but things were out of his hands at a certain point.

The wait time is terrible. I called in the morning to schedule an appointment. I was on hold which the recording said for about 2 minutes and someone would be with me. After a minute or so I got a recording that said I could leave a message and someone will return my call and I wouldn't lose my place. So I pressed the # to leave my message and waited for them call me back. This was at 8:30am. My day goes by and they never called me back. I got off work and drove from Immokalee to Fort Myers to see about getting my oil changed. This was at 3pm. They said it would be 3 to 5 hours before they could get to my car. They weren't even nice about it. I mentioned I called that morning and left a message for them to call me and nobody has. I was told they were to busy. I was then told that I could have gone on the website to schedule an appointment and then was told I haven't even been there in the last 2 years. This should have nothing to do with me getting my service I requested. I just drove an hour to get there and I was going to wait for my car to get the oil change I needed. There were others there in the waiting area complaining about the same situation. I waited for just over 3 hours and I was finally out of there. I'm not planning to go back again. The rudeness was unacceptable. I have bought my last 3 vehicles there, in which my last 1 was just 6 months ago. Guess I will have to find another toyota dealer. Sorry Auto Nation, you disappointed me.

After 2 1/2 hour wait for an on time arrival I asked how much longer. This was just a check up and tire rotation, nothing more. The service person called the shop and was told that the car was not even in the shop and was third in line. She went to the shop and had them take my car next and I was soon out. She was very nice and said the shop was short handed.

Brought my 2007 Toyota Tundra as it had a check engine light and the 4 wheel low light was flashing. Mark Trillas was the advisor. I was told it was a cam shaft oil filter that needed cleaning. I gave approval to fix and when picked up my truck was told they solved the problem. I drove that morning from Fort Myers heading home to New Hampshire. I made it to Jacksonville, FL and the same lights came back on. I called Auto Nation only to be told twice (20 minutes apart) that Mark was not answering his phone and must be busy. I explained my situation and was told he will call me back soon. That call came 2-1/2 hours later when I already found another dealer to bring the truck to. The other dealer looked at the codes and could not understand why Auto Nation looked at the cam filters when the codes pointed to the OCV (oil control valve). I eventually the next day spoke with Mark who was going to talk to his Manager. NEVER received a call back. DO NOT bring your vehicle here. Fancy looking place but incompetent advisors and mechanics. Ripped me off for $311

I received a coupon for a $69.95 oil change (synthetic). So I asked the service tech what the total cost would be - I figured a little over $70 with tax. She said oh it will be over $80. You have to pay parts plus disposal fee. Why not give an oil change coupon for $80 then? Or better yet, why not give a "loyalty" oil change for $20? I bought my car at AutoNation and have had every service performed there for over six years.

its a bit of a cluster every time super busy, they keep you to one person as service writer and you can wait extended times to check out if they are backed up. Everyone is really nice though its just a lot, I leave my car and don't wait as for the size and revenue of the dealership the waiting area is really pretty awful considering what other dealerships look like and the amount of money spent on our carsI don't ever choose to hang out there.

First of all, I got a new service advisor this time and Orlando was great. He was informative and helpful. He took care of me because the service advisor I had is no longer there. However, My complaint is with the booking people. If I have an appointment at 8:30 for an oil change then I expect to be out of there within an hour. I was there, waiting until 11:00. I think 2-1/2 hours for an oil change is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never had to wait that long at any other dealership.

We did a two for one exchange for a used Grand Cherokee and had a great experience. We had mapped out 4 dealerships with Grand Cherokees and AutoNation was our 1st stop. We never made it out of there! It wasn't because the barred the doors or exerted high pressure. It was because they gave us the deal we were comfortable with. FYI: I bought my Prius C at the new car lot and was equally pleased with the experience.

Went in for routine maintenance (tire rotation and inspection) with an appointment. It took over two hours for what in most dealers (Honda) is a 1 hour service with no appointment. This has been typical of this dealership for routine maintenance. Do not know why they have not adopted the express service for this kinds of maintenance (oil changes/inspections). Also, their waiting area looks like a 1960's bus terminal I think they need to check out what their competitors are doing

I find it highly unacceptable that the staff can not communicate better with its customers regarding TIME. I have been to Toyota 4 times for a total of 10.5 hours for a routine maintenance and a tire that took 3 visits to finally be fixed.

If going buying a car, ask for Marcus, he's the best salesman I have ever dealt with at a car lot. Would rate the entire experience with the dealership a 3/5, however if I could just give a rating to the salesman (Marcus) in the used car department it would be a 5/5. He knew everything about the car top to bottom. He gave me a complete CarFax report and showed me all the past history of the vehicle which always makes me comfortable when looking for a new car. Also there was a no pressure approach from him, which you typically get at a car lot. I would buy a car from him any day.

The service and the people communication was terrible, first the car guy receiver he never listen that only want my OIL change, so when I get back to pick up my car they never change the oil, just they rotate my wheels, so I ask again for change my OIL and I left the car for 2nd time, in the afternoon when I went to pick up my car the windshield was broken I talked with the manager and he check with the mechanic and they said to me that they received the car like that but the first guy in the morning get my car in good condition and nothing was broken. So in conclusion I spent all day from 8 AM till 5 PM for one only OIL change service and I also get my car with my windshield BROKEN and the TOYOTA dealer and his manager said to me that they don’t go to pay nothing just they said find somebody for fixed or just call your insurance. I NEVER GOING TO RECOMMEND THIS DEALER FOR ANYONE

Bought a 2007 Jeep after Christmas while I was in Florida on vacation. Drove the Jeep home to Wisconsin in February and didn't make it. Transmission is now junk, why you might ask? Because the Transmission fluid was low and high gear dried out driving 24 hours home at highway speeds. There 5 day tail light warranty is a joke. This should have been caught during routine inspection. Email to dealership went unanswered. Don't buy from Autonation.

2013 VENZA: "Clang-like" noise when beginning to go forward. Determined to be a loose fender liner. I told service writer that AutoNation Fort Myers had replaced that fender a few months ago. Service writer then consulted with body ship personned and it was determined that there would be no charge. I commend the body shop personnel for standing behind their work! By the way, they did a superb job of making the body repairs earlier. Definitely will recommend their body shop.

sales experience was okay but service has been terrible!!! appointments don't mean anything.. you still wait 3 hours and they won't give you a rental nor will they take you home or work or anywhere. The service advisor that they assign you to when you make your appointment is never there. and they tried to charge me $350 for a new tire because they said it couldn't be plugged. I came home and my husband plugged it right up. that was a year ago and that tire is still going strong!

Came in for last free check up. Was told oil change not needed until another 2,000 miles and it would cost over $100. Told him not to have it changed. I would do it myself when needed. When truck was done I was given a bill for $107.00. They had changed the oil anyway. Was not happy. Had a coupon for $69.00. Was told the difference would only be $5.00. Won’t be returning to auto nation. I have owned 4 Toyota trucks. Will probably trade in for a Dodge.

Had a service engine light come so went to have it checked out. Turns out it was a hose came off, they put it back on. $83 service charge. Then they indicated I needed to replace front brake pad which were fine a few weeks before when I had an oil change. I then took it to another auto repair shop to have it checked out, they called me over don?t need new pads just under half worn. I prefer to take my vehicle to dealer for service but am having hard time trusting this dealership.

Very poor follow up. I purchased my vehicle in cash on 2-11-21. They gave me a temporary plate for 20 days and said they would call me when they received the plate. 19 days later I called them and they did not know where the license plate was and had to give me another 20 day temporary plate. Here we are 4-2-21 and when I send an e-mail to Lisa Campion (sales person) she just forwards it to Brandon Welch (Business Manager) and nobody will get back to me. This was an awful experience. We had an appointment and waited over 2 hours for an oil change. They were understaffed and the staff was obviously stressed. Had 2 appointments. One for our car and one for our SUV. After waiting over 2 hours, and the manager refusing to meet with us, we left without the car even being serviced. What an awful night. Not that they will even care being the manager wouldn't even speak with us. Wow, after 25 plus years of being a loyal customer. Not what we expected.

I took my vehicle in for routine service at 13,450 miles, 21 months into a 36 month lease.. I was advised to have the alignment done which I agreed to. Then after inspection I was shown a dirty air filter and told that I needed throttle service. By the time I left 2 1/2 hours later, I had a bill for over $400 dollars. At no time was I told that the repairs were optional for a leased vehicle. That information was provided to my husband after he made inquiries about the bill when I returned home. I subsequently spoke with the service associate who was unwilling to make adjustments to the bill.

I was told to give them an hour and 45 minutes to do oil change, tire rotation and transaxle service while I waited. It took 3 hours and no time update was given nor a reason for the delay. The buying process was actually a great one with a super salesman Kris and his finance guy Jeremy making our entire day pleasant. However, 8 hours is too long for elders to wait for the end, although we were always tended to. This is always an exhausting experience when we buy a car - even the same car. The facility is safe and secure as it should be for the pandemic. It is not as lovely as it used to be but it will be back I'm sure. Also comfortable, thank goodness.

Took an hour and a half for oil change, tire rotation, and maintenance checklist. Car wash was broken. Well, I guess that happens, I just wonder why a repair shop couldn't fix it. HOWEVER, Jiffy Lube at least teaches the maintenance personnel how to clean the bugs off the windshield rather than just leave them there. When I asked what can be done about that spare tire (the one under the car that takes forever to crank down to access) that loses pressure so that the low pressure light comes on every few months, I was told I have to just add air to it. They did do that, but next time it's my turn.

Over all I had a good experience with the sales process for my RAV4. I knew what I wanted to pay, what payment terms I wanted and what APR I wanted (and could get). It took almost 2 hours for them to finally agree to my offer and terms. I know it’s part of the “game” but it could have gone faster. The only real problem I had was getting in contact with my sales man so I could get the info I needed to get the car on my insurance before I went to pick it up.

I hate the navigation package that came with my 2018 Camry. I quit using it, and just used my phone. I was thrilled when I received the notice for the Apple CarPlay upgrade! I called Fort Myers Autonation's customer service on 01/11/2021, and was connected to Service Advisor: 5736 Ms. Jackie Killough, and she was so pleasant, effervescent, and helpful that it made my car service experience "almost" enjoyable. It seems that a rodent had entered my engine compartment and dined on my vehicle's wiring. Although I have an Extended Warranty program on my 2013 Camry and thought the cost of repair would be covered it was not. One would feel that Rat dining should NOT be a covered expense unless you are the one having to pay for dinner. So as usual into my wallet I went, but happily, to my amazement the cost of dinner for Rats is not that expensive and I left customer service feeling I got away with a cheap meal. Today, that's hard to find. Both the Rat and I thank you Toyota, and if this review goes to Ms. Killough, tell her that I am the person who said the Rat ? must have been my next-door neighbor.

Arrived 15 minutes early for a scheduled appointment. Two Hours ans twenty minutes after appointment time my Oil Change was done. No excuses. Just a "Thanks for your business." Next time I will use an aftermarket vendor that can do the work in less than an hour

2019 Tundra is veering to the right, I bring it in for routine maintenance and to have them see what the issue is that causes it to veer right. $140 for an alignment, no change. Day 2, technicians do alignment twice more (3 times so far), truck veers to the right, steering stiff, and tiny bumps will cause the truck to rapidly veer in either direction. Not happy! No fix yet, having to go for a 3rd day of service (hours of wait time) and they don’t even offer courtesy vehicles. Not happy!

I went in for a simple oil and filter change. Showed up and waited 15 minutes for someone to take my keys then two hours and 45 minutes for them to perform the oil change. All this even though I had an appointment!! They obviously have trouble scheduling since this isn't the first time I had to wait like this. But it is the last tiems simnce I will not be going back there.

I was ready for the old song and dance as to why AutoNation couldn't pay the amount that they estimated with the online questionnaire, but it never happened. They honored their online estimate and that is all anyone can ever ask. The amount that I received wasn't toward another purchase - just a straight sale of my car for cash. Thank you!

Beware of add ons (i.e., service plans, extended warranties, etc) during financing portion of the sale for $800-$1,000 that they claim to be "complimentary," but yet are added to the price of the car and financing. BIG SCAM!!!! They'll sneak them in.

The Service Advisor that I dealt with in getting my 2018 Prius back to a reliable vehicle that I have come to expect was outstanding. I was limited to strictly telephone conversations. She kept me updated on the repair status and was really on top of the issues. Great job!

I went in for ONE new tire. What should have taken about a half-hour took 1.5 hours. Obviously, the service dept. was overbooked and backed up. A colossal waste of time. But what was worse was the lack of COVID protections among patrons. Although I never entered the service area, I watched customer after customer come and go with no masks. It's totally irresponsible for AutoNation to continue to conduct business without strict COVID protection requirements. The motto should be "No mask, no service." It was obvious AutoNation doesn't care about its patrons health and safety.

The sale of the truck went very well, our sales rep Sol was great with handling the negotiating and getting us to and through the financing. We got the truck after it was dark out and were surprised to find a few minor scratches but the dent in the cab was not minor. I called and informed Sol of the issue and he had use bring it right in. The scratches were buffed out but the dent couldn’t be taken out easily so they recommended the body shop which I’ve gotten nothing but excuses on why we haven’t been contacted to get it repaired! The best one was the person that schedules it was on vacation and the paperwork just sat there for about two weeks. I’m very dissatisfied with the post buying service I’ve received.

I think the dealer overcharged for the purge valve replacement. Part was about $160 and labor $130. With miscellaneous costs and taxes, the total was $355. According to the research on the internet, the cost to replace a purge valve is generally between $110-$170, with the parts being the expensive price of the replacement, coming in at an average of $75-$110, while the labor usually only runs at about $50,

I was so stressed going into this process. I brought my dad prepared to be hounded and tricked. However, AutoNation made the whole process enjoyable. They bought my Audi site unseen and made that process enjoyable too. My dad who’s bought so many new cars was so impressed that he is planning on buying his next cars with them.

Service was fast, and well done. I had to get new keys for my car. They had to reprogram the new key to my car. They did a great job, but, $500.00 to do it was very pricey. I found out other places do it for around $200.00.

Got recall notice on highlander. When contacting service department they had no record of me or my call despite having bought it from them and having service there several times. Then acted as if it was my fault or I was calling the wrong dealer. Despite being a 4 to 5 hour service (it took 6 ) they would initially not provide a loaner. It was only after I contacted Toyota that a loaner was provided. Car was not washed when done. Waiting area looks like a 1960?s bus terminal Only limited effort /changes made for COVID

I took my Toyota Corolla se yesterday for the required 30.000 miles required maintenance,the advisor told me my car was needing a brake fluid service and an intake throttle fuel injector service with the cost of $543.87,so I said ok (I do not know much about cars ),when I got home I called a friend of mine who has the same car model and year with more miles than mine and he told me he took his car to the Toyota dealer in Naples and the only thing his car required was oil changed,tire rotation,cabin filter and top the fluids so I went and goggled the Toyota requirement maintenance at 30.000 miles ,father I did that I called the service department and explained the situation to the receptionist so she transferred me to the service manager and she explain to me that the brake fluid was dirty so it needed to be serviced ,same with the fuel injection system, like I said before I do not know much about cars ,but my question is when I bought the car last December (2019) with only 22.700 miles your dealer advertised that when anybody buy a certified car through you was like driving a new car ,so at that point when you were selling the car the brake fluid and the fuel injection system were not checked? It is normal for a car with only 30.000 miles has to has that kind of repairmen? I do not think so .

There was one thing that was upsetting. The sales manager and most of the male sales staff did not wear masks or they wore them not completely covering their nose and mouth. They certainly did not practice social distancing of 6 feet even when they were in small confined areas with customers or other salespeople. Our sales lady did an excellent and she wore a mask at all times as did the other ladies in the building.

Terrible EXPERIENCE ?? I went for an oil change and for the power steering fluid because the steering is hard and has a noise and after waiting 2 hours Silvester the service agent called me to pay $ 50 for an EXPENSIVE oil change and told me that the mechanics who knew how to put the power steering fluid had left at 4 pm and that those who had remained alone don?t knew how to do that only change the oil and that's it. And also they can?t do an exhaustive inspection of the car because they only do oil change 123.

This was the easiest new car purchase we have ever had! The car was brought to our house for us to test drive! Kris Temkin, the sales associate, was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous! There were no high pressure sales tactics. We actually came to the agreement via text messaging! When all was agreed, we drove in to the dealership and completed the deal. With the service I have received on maintenance I will never buy a vehicle from this dealership again. My most recent visit for maintenance was another disaster. Went in for oil change and tire rotation. Tires were not rotated. Service techs can not be trusted. I wonder if the oil was changed? Had to go back again for the repair.

I purchased a Tundra back in January 2014. I have been very happy with the vehicle and have continued to have ALL of the service completed at AutoNation Fort Myers since the purchase of the vehicle. I have had issues with the automatic door lock actuators since the third year of owning the vehicle. I have had 3 out of the 4 actuators replaced under original factory warranty and under purchased extended electrical warranty. The front passenger actuator went out this week and I took the vehicle in for normal scheduled service and told them about the actuator. The actuator was replaced in 11/19 so it was about a year old. They said it was out of warranty and gave me an estimate of almost $700.00 to replace. This is absolutely ridiculous since it had been recently replaced. Obviously Toyota has a problem that they are aware of and refuse to take care of this issue. Just doing an easy internet search will reveal how bad this is with many customers complaining with the same issue. I refused to have the actuator replaced and will do myself if needed to save about $500.00 - $600.00. Toyota needs to make this right! Prior to scheduling and bringing in my Tundra for routine service, I had been noticing issues with my battery. The truck was slow to crank over and was sure my battery was going bad. I did not report this to the service advisor since battery inspection was included in the scheduled service. Upon picking the vehicle up and reviewing all service performed with the advisor, I was informed that the battery was checked and the battery was good. I still noticed the vehicle was slow to crank and 2 days after the service my battery was really starting to fail with the vehicle struggling to turn over. I work at a golf course and have 4 mechanics on staff to perform maintenance and repairs on $2 million of golf course equipment. I asked them to check the battery and the charging system and the battery tested bad. I purchased a new battery this morning from a local auto parts supply store that we do business with and had it replaced and all is good. Obviously AutoNation did not test the battery! It was visible from the dirt and some corrosion around the positive terminal that it had not been inspected or checked. I question what other inspections had actually been performed that were also part of the scheduled service? Needless to say I will not be bringing my Tundra back to AutoNation for any further service/repairs. This is a shame since I have been a loyal customer for almost 7 years. I will also be in the market for a new truck within the next year or two and will not consider Toyota or AutoNation when shopping for my next new truck.

Brought my 2020 Corolla in for its annual check, plus one issue. The young man taking care of me (Mark, I think), was very courteous, polite and thorough. Very pleased with him. For the ?issue? check, Robert was involved and he took time to tell me what he checked and the end result, in spite of a very, very busy day in the service department. Very pleased overall!

My appointment with Toyota was what I expected. The service person stated it would take 2 hours for the 4 wheel alignment and that was the time i waited. They also did a 28 point inspection and found i needed wiper blades and I was going to change them as I noticed it also. The inspection also noticed that my vehicle with 107,000 miles on it would need brakes soon. It was good to know what I can expect next time. Great job.

I have been doing business with this company for 20 yrs and my most recent experience was by far the worst one. Had I stayed and finished my scheduled maintenance it would have been over 2 1/2 hrs for an oil change and tire rotation. It was like the old doctor visits where a number of people were scheduled at the same time.
